Subscription & Un-subscription:

Can I block a number without getting subscription?
No. First you have to subscribe to the service, by sending an SMS with text ‘sub’ to 420. This will create your subscription. Once you are subscribed to the service, then you can block the numbers.

How do I activate this service on my number?
Just SMS ‘sub’ to 420.
This will create your subscription for next thirty (30) days.
Charges:
Rs. 20 + tax per month.

Do I have to renew my subscription every month?

No. You do not have to renew your subscription every month.
Once you subscribe, on 29th day you will get a message notifying that your subscription is being renewed.
You can choose to unsubscribe by sending ‘usub’ to 420. If you don’t do anything, your subscription will be renewed & RS. 20 will be charged.

What happens if my subscription expires & then I re-subscribe?

We maintain the list of your blocked numbers for the next sixty (60) days.
When you renew, you would not need to re-create the list of blocked numbers again.

What happens if I unsubscribe & then re-subscribe?

We maintain the list of your blocked numbers for the next sixty (60) days.
So if you choose to come back, you would not need to re-create the list of blocked numbers again.

What if I don’t have sufficient balance at the time of subscription renewal?

Subscription renewal is automatically attempted after thirty days – you get a notification on 27th day.
On 30th day if you do not have the balance of more than Rs.25, the service is de-activated.
You would start receiving those annoying calls again.
For your convenience, until you unsubscribe, the subscription is attempted every night.
If you have the balance exceeding Rs. 25, subscription is renewed & all those annoying calls will be blocked again.
Once you are re-subscribed, you do not need to block the numbers again as the list of blocked numbers is maintained at the system even when your subscription is not renewed. v

Blocking:

Does this service block SMS as well?
No. This service blocks the incoming calls only.

Does this service block missed calls as well?
Yes. Calls & Missed Calls from a number can be blocked.

Can this service block outgoing calls as well?
No. This service blocks the incoming calls only

How many numbers can I block?

You can block UNLIMITED phone numbers.
No extra subscription charges to increase your block list.
Monthly subscription charges will remain same i.e. Rs.20 + tax per month.

How do I block a number?

First you need to activate the monthly subscription by sending ‘sub’ to 420.

Subscription is required one time only.
You will receive a confirmation through SMS.
Now you can block the number by sending the number to 420.
For example: send "03451234567" to 420.
Charges: Rs.2+tax only.


Can I block more than one number at a time?

Yes, to block more than one number in one go, you need to go to web site: click here and login there through your account.
With SMS you can block only one number at a time.

How do I un-block a number?

You can unblock the blocked number by sending U<space><number> to 420
For example: send U 03451234567 to 420.
Charges:
Rs.2 + tax only.


How do I get list of the numbers that I have blocked?
If you are a subscriber to Telenor Call Blocker service, you can get the list of blocked numbers by sending ‘BL’ to 420.

Once I block a number, what do my blocked callers hear?
They hear the default prompt of 'Busy Tone', although you can change call blocker prompt tone by dialing 420 or through call blocker website Click here.

Can I change the tone that my blocked caller hear?

Yes. You can change the default prompt to busy tone (number busy) or ringing tone (number not responding).
To change the default prompt you need to dial 420 or Click here.

I want to receive no calls at all except a few numbers. How do I do that?
Telenor currently does not offer this option.
However, if you have this specific need, you can write to us at telenor345@telenor.com.pk. We will be happy to arrange this option for you.

Call Blocker Website:

How can I create my account on Call blocker website to access this service?
To access this service through website, you will have to subscribe first via SMS 'sub' to 420. After successful subscription, Dial 420 to get the password for Call blocker website account. Visit call blocker website (Click Here) to login. y to arrange this option for you.


How can I manage the call blocker prompt tone through website?

After successful login, go to 'Change Prompt Tone' option on left menu.
Press 'Block New Number' button on page. As below:



Enter the number to block and click 'Block' button. This will block the number you entered as:



What format of phone number should be entered while login at website?
The only phone number format that is acceptable while login in at website is '345XXXXXXX'. ( i.e. without Zero at start of your phone number).

I entered wrong password to login at website, now I am getting 'Password limit exceeds!' What should I do now?
Simply dial 420 and press 4 to 'Clear the number of consecutive wrong web password inputs', then your password will be reset, and you will be able to login with your valid password.

How can I change the password of my website account?
Login to your account through website, go to left menu option 'Change password'. Where you can enter old password with new password to change it.
(You can also change password by dialing 420.)

Can I change call blocker prompt tone through website, which my blocked caller will hear?
Login to your Account through website, go to left menu option 'Change Prompt Tone' and click 'Modify' button


What are the charges of each service I use through website?
The charges are same as through SMS, which are as follows:
Block a number: Rs. 2 + Tax (One time)
Unblock a number: Rs. 2 + Tax (One time).
You can enjoy other features of website with ZERO Charges, totally FREE.

How can I unblock my blocked number through website?
Steps as follows:
1- Login to your website account
2- Click 'Block Numbers' option on left menu
3- Click 'Query' button to view list of your blocked numbers.
4- Select particular blocked number that you wish to unblock.
5- Click 'Unblock Selected Number' button to unblock.

International Roaming:

While subscribing to Call Blocker, I am getting an error: "Call blocker activation failed. please deactivate International roaming and subscribe to call blocker service again or call 345 for help." ?

As you have International Roaming activated on your phone number.
You can not enjoy Call Blocker & IR access on your phone at the same time.
Simply change the access level from IR to IDD or NWD by calling 345.
After the access level is changed, then you can send ‘sub’ to 420.
Subscription Charges: Rs.20+tax per month.

I already have Call Blocker activated on my phone. What happens if I activate International Roaming?

You will face an error saying: “Call blocker activation failed. please deactivate International roaming and subscribe to call blocker service again or call 345 for help.”
If you are a subscriber to Call Blocker service & want to use International Roaming while abroad, you have to send ‘usub’ to 420.
This will unsubscribe you from Telenor Call Blocker.
Then visit a Sales & Service Center to get International Roaming activated on your number.

Does this work on any package plan?
Yes. Telenor Call Blocker service works on all package plans: Persona, djuice & TalkShawk.

Will the usage of this Service shown on my Persona Postpaid Invoice?

Yes, the usage of service will be shown in your Invoice.
Every time, either you subscribe or block a number; description of each transaction will be shown with charges. Like the following invoice:
